Contacting the OIR with a concern about a worker and/or organisation

You can reach out to us if you have concerns about an organisation that we regulate and/or a particular worker.

We are not an emergency response service. Contact Tasmania Police on 000 and/or Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line on 1800 000 123 if you are concerned about the immediate safety of a child.

Key things to know before contacting us

  • We need specific details to be able to use our legal powers. Please fill in as many fields as you can which are relevant to your concern in the form below.
  • If you only have some of the details, or don’t feel comfortable sharing all of them, we still want to hear from you.
  • But it’s important for you to know this may limit the steps we can take.
  • We are not the police, and we don’t cancel peoples’ Registration to Work With Vulnerable People.
  • We can talk directly with organisations about their compliance responsibilities and share key information with other authorities.
  • If you would like support to fill this form out, please call us on 1800 754 728 and a team member will assist.
