How to be heard when you have concerns about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person
The main oversight bodies for child safety and wellbeing in Tasmania support a 'no wrong door' approach when people raise concerns.
This means these oversight bodies work together to make sure your concern gets to the best place, no matter which ‘front door’ you go through.
As part of this commitment, a guide has been created to give you a clear picture of what these oversight bodies can – and cannot – do if you raise a concern with them.

The Office of the Independent Regulator developed the guide along with the Ombudsman, the Commissioner for Children and Young People, the Integrity Commission and the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Scheme.
Published as version 1.0, this interim resource will be revised following the establishment of the new Commission for Children and Young People.
